Good Tuesday Evening January 27, 2015

Hiya all!!! Just wanted to drop in for a few minutes with a couple of little things. (Still haven’t gotten pics off of my phone, sorry.)

I won a new quilting book!!! Molly Hanson has written a wonderful book titled Free Motion Quilting for Beginners (and those who think they can’t). You can find it for sale here, at Martingale. And I won a copy on her blog sew wrong sew right. Sbe’s a lovely lady, and I’m thrilled to get the chance to check out this new book. I’ve been studying doing free motion quilting and kinda did a little with the Christmas place mats that I made, but really need to jump in and get my feet wet. I think this book will help me out bunches. Thank you so much Molly!!!

1-25-2015 Beginning Free Motion BookI told you last night about making the picture frame at the library. Here’s a pic of the final product. (Yep, the glass is broken, it was when I opened the package. No big deal, I’ll just use it without the glass.)

1-25-2015 Mixed Media Monday Picture FrameI love those little butterflies that I put on it. So sweet!!!

I went to the Chronic Disease Self-Management class this afternoon. WOW!!! I have goals and homework and stuff to do, lol. It seems like it will be a good class, and it’s a small group—only 6 of us in there. We have two instructors—Lisa and Ginger—and I’m taking tons of notes. We were each provided with a big book—Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions—and a notepad as well. We had fruit, yogurt, and water provided also. I think I’ll learn quite a bit to help me on my journey.

That’s about it for tonight ya’ll. Take care, talk to ya soon. Blessed be, hugs!!! Pam
