Good morning all!!! Well, it’s been a couple of weeks since Gwen and I went to the AQS Quilt Week in Charlotte. We had a FABULOUS time!!! So many lovely quilts and good company with the Burke Quilter’s Guild group. We left Morganton at 8 AM and got there about 10. We spent the whole day there, just looking, browsing, and buying. Yep, got a couple of books and a few fat quarters. I will be posting pics over the next few weeks, so stay tuned. We left the show about 5:30, and ate at Cracker Barrel in Gastonia. By the time we got back to Morganton and I took Gwen home, it was 10:30 before I got home that night. Was tired the next day, but oh so worth it.
OK, here we go with the pics:
Beautiful quilt work on this next one.
Sooooo many small blocks!!!
Loved all the different stars in this one.
Mama would have loved this one, she was such a lover of birds.
Gwen was intrigued by the bags!!!
And one of my favorites, since I’ve started working on hexies.
Ms. McDonald’s Farm was so darn cute!!!
Sorry some of the pics are a bit blurry. I say, not too bad for a $60 camera, lol. Hope you enjoyed seeing these gorgeous quilts. Like I said there’ll be more in the future. Next up will be the patriotic quilts. Until then, keep stitching, hooking, or whatever it is you love doing. Blessed be, hugs!!!
