Hiya!!! And welcome to new visitors!!! I just linked up at Sew Many Ways for Karen’s Find a Friend Friday linky party. I hope you’ll take a look around. My blog’s still kinda new, so I don’t have a lot on it, but I’m growing and adding things all the time.
The title to today’s blog is referring to my mobility status. 10 days ago, my car decided to take a break (no pun intended), and it’s still broke. Dean is doing all he can for it, but had to wait on parts. The warehouse where the parts are coming from declared my engine to be obsolete TWO months ago, so they’re having to order the parts from the manufacturer. Hopefully they’ll be here today. So maybe by Sunday, fingers all crossed. He’s been really great about getting me out of the apartment every few days, so I haven’t gone stir crazy yet. I have a dentist appointment this afternoon, and he’s getting off early to take me to it.
I’ve kept pretty busy. Done a little sewing—Yes, DD1, I’ve been working on the baby quilts—some crocheting—working on the It’s Just a Triangle shawl—and done some reading. I’ve read just about everything that isn’t boxed up, but that’s ok. I just purchased 68 new Catherine Coulter books from EBay. Now if PayPal would just co-operate and let me pay for them, sigh. They need to have documentation from me that I’m who I say I am before I can add any funds to my account. GRRRRR They’ve been having lots of problems lately, but what are you going to do??? Most EBay sellers are dependent on them. Oh well. Anyway, I just love Catherine Coulter, and this will give me almost her entire library. She’s been writing since 1958, at the age of 14. That’s almost as long as I’ve been alive!!! And she’s still putting out novels today. I just finished Tailspin. one of her FBI suspense thriller series books. Can’t wait to get the new books. They should keep me busy for a while lol.
I’ve recently started a project with Fund a Pet Miracle association. My dog, Misty, is heartworm positive. I didn’t know about this until after I rescued her. I can’t afford the treatment for this (Social Security disability payments don’t go very far), and I’m trying to raise funds for it. You can go here, http://fundapetmiracle.com/projects/misty-has-heartworm1/692, to read all about it. She’s such a little lovebug, and I want to do what is best for her.
Well, that’s about it for now. Thanks for stopping by, I’ll be back soon. Blessed be, hugs!!! ❤
