I try to remember, honor, and thank our military personnel every chance that I get, both living and departed.
Today is Memorial Day. It is a day that was set aside to honor the men and women who gave all to our county. A day to remember, a day to praise. The ones who never made it back home to loved ones, who perhaps never touched their beloved country’s soil again.
It isn’t Veteran’s Day. That day will come again in November. I don’t mean to slight or dishonor our veterans. I am forever in their debt. But today isn’t that day.
So let us remember the ones that have gone on to a better, peaceful existence. Let us praise them once again. Thank you. Blessed be.
