Hiya!!! Welcome back, at least I hope some of you are coming back.
Well, I’m still trying to get my sleep regulated. Last Friday I slept 14 hours, Saturday was 15 hours, and Sunday I cut it short at 13. Geeeesssss!!! But I did get some sewing done last week, at least on one day. Finished one dress and have made a good dent in two more. This is ridiculous. I should have had all seven of them done in two weeks, at the longest; one week would have been even better. (And doable.) I just don’t function like I used to. And I can’t seem to get over the guilt of that. I feel like I should be able to do more, especially for others.
I have been going to the Social Media Small Business classes again. They were on the 16th, 18th, 23rd, and will finish up tomorrow night, the 25th. I really enjoy these classes. They’re full of information about ways to grow a business on the web, and it gives me a chance to meet some new people. Gets me out of the house!
Had my pacemaker rechecked last Thursday. I’ve been having some problems with my heart pounding since the first of the year. Last year it was a problem with it racing, but it hasn’t done that but once this year. But the pounding started, and I’m not sure why. I liked the new pacemaker tech. He introduced himself to me, which the previous one never did, and explained what he was doing and what the readout was about. The cardiologist’s office called me on Monday, and had scheduled an appointment for me for today at 1:15. I called them back and told them that I had another doctor appt. at 1:00. They’ve rescheduled me for next Tuesday at 2:15. After seeing the cardiologist the last time, in March, he said he’d see me again next year. WHAT??? While I was still having problems??? He has changed his mind since seeing my pacemaker recheck. So I’m kinda anxious about that. But what will be, will be. I have a moderate atrial defect, which means I have a hole in my heart, but they say it’s nothing to worry about, it’s not big enough to warrant surgery.
I had the other appointment with my regular PA. I’ve lost a few more pounds, YAY!!! My A1C was 6.6, which he was pleased with, but I’m a bit anemic, and have a slight UTI. He wants to switch my insulin to a longer-lasting type, and try a once-a-week injection too. I’ve got an appointment next week to see the diabetes specialist in their office. So I have doctor appointments for next Tuesday and Wednesday. Yay, something to look forward to.
Misty has been her sweet laughable little self, sleeping under the covers and barking at me when I come home. And more sugars than I can handle sometimes lol. I’m so lucky to have her in my life. Still miss Sassy, a lot, but Misty is good for kissing tears away.
I’ve started carrying my camera with me when I go out, so I have a few pictures to show:
Now my computer desk is in my bedroom, on the second floor, and I have a window unit air conditioner. A couple of weeks ago, I heard something at the window and thought it was a bird. I looked over and there was this squirrel, watching me on the computer. He sat there about 5 minutes, just peeking in and scratching around. So cute!!!
Last Friday, I went to my LQS (local quilt shop) and stopped by the boat landing on the way there. It was a cold, rainy day, but I love looking at Catawba River, no matter what the weather.
Also found this lovely dogwood tree on a side road. Absolutely gorgeous.
I stopped by a local miniature horse farm on the way home this evening. The mama horse is only about 3 foot tall, and you can see the darling colt standing in front of her. I love watching them.
I’m going to try to set a goal to post at least once a week. That should be doable, just have to make myself sit down and type. Please remember to visit my etsy shop, http://www.etsy.com/shop/PamsPretties57. Thanks so much. Blessed be, hugs!!!
